On January 10, a Bitcoin wallet that had been inactive for six years transferred its holdings to a new address, according to Lookonchain analysts.

A total of 500 BTC—worth approximately $46.87 million—arrived at Coinbase Prime.
Six years ago, at the time the deposit was originally credited to the source address, the price of one bitcoin was around $7000.
Context
- In November 2024, a wallet dormant for 14 years moved 2000 BTC (valued at over $180 million at the time) to a new address.
- At the end of December, a wallet belonging to Cosmos Network developers transferred 295.3 BTC (~$27.7 million) raised during an ICO in 2017.
