Alibaba has integrated agent-based capabilities and critical thinking into the neural network. QwQ-32 performs comparably to models from DeepSeek and OpenAI across various benchmarks assessing mathematical abilities, programming skills, and general problem-solving proficiency.

The new AI model is available in Qwen Chat, where users can choose different models, including the most powerful version, Qwen2.5-Max.
Alibaba’s stock surged 8% during trading on March 5 following the announcement.

In November 2024, Alibaba introduced the reasoning-focused AI model QwQ-32B-Preview.
Previously, the company launched the Qwen2-Math AI model series, which reportedly outperforms GPT-4o and Claude 3.5 in mathematical reasoning.
