Mining company Bitdeer has successfully completed the testing of its new Bitcoin mining chip, SEAL02, developed in partnership with TSMC, one of the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturers. The SEAL02 chip is highly energy-efficient, operating at just 13.5 joules per terahash in ultra-low power mode, which is one of the best performance metrics in the market.
The new chip will be integrated into the SEALMINER A2 miners, with mass production scheduled for November 2024.
“SEAL02 has an exceptional energy efficiency ratio—13.5 joules per terahash at low voltage in ultra-energy-saving mode. It will be easily integrated into our new SEALMINER A2 miners, with mass production set for November 2024,” the company stated.
