On December 11, Apple released a software update for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, integrating ChatGPT into Siri. However, OpenAI’s developer community lead Edwin Arbus clarified that the outage was unrelated to the update. Instead, the disruption stemmed from configuration changes that rendered many servers inaccessible.
This is not the first instance of technical issues with OpenAI’s services. In June, ChatGPT experienced a five-hour downtime. Earlier this week, users faced difficulties generating videos with Sora due to a surge in demand.
