Ethereum Surpasses $2,800

The second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization has surged 9.6% in the past 24 hours, breaking the significant $2,800 level and reaching values last seen in early August.

The ETH/BTC pair also experienced a notable 8.5% rise over the past day, while the DeFi segment’s market capitalization grew by 6.7%, with the RWA sector showing a comparable increase.

At the time of writing, Ethereum’s total market value is approximately $341 billion, with the asset trading around $2,820.

Recently, the Ethereum-to-Bitcoin market cap ratio dropped to its lowest point since April 2021.
