The raised funds will be used to expand a diversified portfolio, including investments in funds and increasing Bitcoin positions, which Samara uses as its primary reserve asset.
Management Statements
Patrick Lowry, CEO of Samara, stated that the company has long held Bitcoin and now plans to increase its holdings.
“I’m not sure if it’s possible, but it would be a dream to accumulate as much as Michael Saylor has,” said Lowry.
It is worth noting that in September, MicroStrategy acquired 7,420 BTC, bringing its reserves to 252,220 Bitcoin.
“We are excited about the prospect of issuing these bonds and look forward to using the proceeds to acquire more Bitcoin,” added Lowry.
On October 14, Samara’s stock rose by 7%.
Bond Issuance Terms
The bonds will be guaranteed by a special legal entity, Samara Asset Holdings Ltd., and the minimum subscription amount will be €100,000.
Target: 1000 BTC
Currently, Samara holds 421 BTC, and Lowry hopes to increase this number to 1,000 coins by the end of the year, depending on the success of the bond issuance.
