Arbitrum Developers Launch Onchain Labs Incubator

arbitrum

Arbitrum developers from Offchain Labs, in collaboration with the Arbitrum Foundation, have launched the Onchain Labs incubator to support “innovative and experimental” dApps within the L2 network.

The company will provide projects with product and market entry consulting but will not allocate operational resources.

The team will only support projects willing to offer fair TGE conditions to “strengthen community unity.” The firm has not ruled out the possibility of its venture division, Tandem, acquiring their tokens on public markets.

“We are allocating resources to support developers looking to rapidly expand the application layer. Together, we will implement ideas from scratch to enhance the user experience on Arbitrum. We are confident that we will see industry-leading dApps,” the announcement stated.

Aptos Initiative

Movemaker, an official public organization associated with the Aptos Foundation, has launched a $2 million grant program and opened a co-working space for developers in Hong Kong, called Aptos Space.

The initiative aims to strengthen the blockchain ecosystem and drive Web3 innovation by supporting “talents and extraordinary projects.”

The program primarily targets developers from Greater China, though global teams can also participate.

Funds will be allocated for financial, strategic, and technical support for dApps in areas such as DeFi, AI, payment solutions, stablecoins, and RWA.

Reminder: In January, Arbitrum DAO initiated a vote on upgrading the L2 solutions Arbitrum One and Nova, allowing for the implementation of the BoLD dispute resolution protocol.

In April 2024, Offchain Labs deployed BoLD in the testnet.
