Cloud mining service provider BitFuFu has signed a contract with Bitmain to purchase up to 80,000 S-series miners.

The two-year agreement includes flexible payment terms. According to BitFuFu, the deal will allow the company to acquire the latest generation of devices, including the S21 XP and S21 Pro models.
“Our close strategic partnership with Bitmain ensures a steady supply of new miners to rapidly scale our global infrastructure, aiming to reach 1 GW of mining power by the end of 2026,” said BitFuFu CEO Leo Lu.
Following the announcement, the company’s shares rose by 13.13%.
In October, BitFuFu signed a definitive agreement to acquire a controlling stake in an 80 MW Bitcoin mining operation in Ethiopia.
