Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has launched the Bitget Graduate Program, an initiative aimed at attracting and developing young talents in the blockchain and Web3 space, according to a post on the platform’s blog.

The program is part of the Blockchain4Youth educational project and targets graduates from leading universities. Participants will gain hands-on experience in operational activities, product management, marketing, risk management, compliance, and data work.

Applications can be submitted on the program’s website until March 15, 2025. Selected candidates will receive job offers starting April 1, 2025. Bitget plans to hire around 30 graduates, providing them with a structured program, interdisciplinary training, and mentorship from industry experts.

“At Bitget, we believe the future of Web3 lies with the new generation. The Graduate Program is designed to give young professionals a direct path into the blockchain industry. We aim to equip future leaders with the key skills and experience needed to build a decentralized world,” commented Bitget’s Chief Operating Officer, Vugar Usi Zade.

Blockchain4Youth, launched in May 2023 in partnership with Argentine footballer Lionel Messi, has allocated $10 million to fund educational courses, hackathons, and scholarship programs.

By the end of 2024, Bitget has established partnerships with over 60 universities, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University College London, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, National Technological University of Argentina, National Taiwan University, and the University of Melbourne. The company has conducted about 100 lectures, reaching more than 13,000 students.

Earlier, Bitget and Foresight Ventures announced the acquisition of Toncoin (TON) worth $30 million from major holders.
