The decentralized, privacy-focused search engine Presearch has launched its chatbot, PreGPT 2.0.

“Presearch is taking AI to the next level with PreGPT 2.0, designed for those who value privacy, freedom, and a Web3 experience. Unlike conventional AI, PreGPT 2.0 ensures confidentiality, decentralization, and a censorship-free environment while delivering an engaging, informative, and unfiltered experience,” the announcement states.

The company aims to compete with tech giants offering centralized AI solutions. The chatbot integrates advanced language models that operate on distributed computing networks.

Presearch offers two subscription plans:

  • Basic plan ($2) – Uses the 7B model from Mistral AI.
  • Professional plan ($5) – Grants access to advanced LLMs from Venice.ai.

“In both options, user privacy is a top priority, and conversations are not tracked. Once a chat is deleted, the data is permanently erased. By leveraging well-known open-source AI models, PreGPT 2.0 collaborates with Venice.ai and Salad.com to maintain a decentralized infrastructure that encrypts user interactions and refrains from storing chat logs,” the project’s website states.

Founded in 2017, Presearch seeks to revolutionize search engine architecture by making it decentralized. Its ecosystem utilizes the PRE token. PreGPT 2.0 is a separate AI initiative by the company.

Reminder: In January, the privacy-focused AI platform Venice launched its VVV token.
