Digital Bridge 2025: Kazakhstan declares itself as the future center of the digital economy

October 2 in Astana the largest technoforum of the country opened Digital Bridge 2025which has become a platform for dialogue between the state, international companies and the crypto industry.

Telegram opens AI laboratory in Kazakhstan

Pavel Durov presented a new project – Telegram Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, created in collaboration with the supercomputer cluster of Kazakhstan.

“A year ago, we opened the first regional office in Kazakhstan, and the results exceeded expectations. Today we are launching an AI laboratory in the building alem.ai, where, together with the national supercomputer, we will develop technologies that will ensure the private and effective use of AI for billions of users,” the entrepreneur noted.

Durov emphasized the importance of Kazakhstan for Telegram, naming the country ‘the key to creating AI for a billion’where traditions, education and technological progress are combined.

CZ: Kazakhstan connects blockchain and AI

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao noted in his speech that it is impossible to predict the “next big thing” in the crypto industry – value arises only where technologies are actually introduced.

According to him, it is Kazakhstan that becomes connection point of artificial intelligence and blockchain, and the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem (BNB Chain) turns into an infrastructure layer for a future decentralized economy.

State Position: Balance of Technology and Responsibility

President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, opening the forum, focused on the need for the responsible use of AI.

“No matter how developed artificial intelligence is, human thinking must remain ahead. Technology is obliged to serve people. Today, it is important to form general regulations and ensure that countries have equal access to advanced solutions,” the head of state said.

Tokayev also announced the preparation Digital Code – the main document that will determine the rules for the development of AI and the digital economy in the country. According to him, the work is carried out carefully, with the participation of experts and parliament in order to avoid hasty decisions.
