Hackers stole about $7 million in bitcoins with Odin.Fun

Platform odin.funoriented to meme coins in the bitcoin network, lost 58.2 BTC (~$7 million) as a result of a cyber attack, according to the analytical company peckshield.

User under the nickname web3xiaoba clarified that the attackers used attack through manipulation. They added tokens for artificial inflating of prices and then withdrawn liquidity, getting bitcoins. Within two hours, platform deposits were reduced from 291 BTC to 232.8 BTC.

Odin.Fun appeals to US law enforcement and cooperates with exchanges OKX and Binance, involving the Chinese authorities in the investigation. In an appeal to the hackers, Bodily warned about the consequences:

“You have a short period of time to return the funds. These are not negotiations. Most of you are already identified, and we will apply all the resources to return the stolen.”
