Starting March 3, Bitcoin exchange Kuna will delist several cryptocurrencies to comply with the MiCA regulation and virtual asset service provider standards. Clients of the platform have received the corresponding notification.
The following currencies will be removed:
- USDT
- DAI
- UAH
- KUN Token
- ZEC
- DASH
Holders of these assets are advised to withdraw them to external wallets. On February 19, the exchange will automatically cancel all open orders containing the delisted tokens.
Withdrawals for these assets will be disabled on March 3, and the Kuna Code bot will also be deactivated.
If users do not withdraw the delisted tokens, Kuna will forcibly convert them into USDC at the market rate available on the exchange at 00:00 CET (01:00 Kyiv) on March 4.
“All other funds and tokens remain safe and available for withdrawal in accordance with the Terms of Use,” the platform’s team stated.
As a reminder, at the end of January, Kuna founder Mykhailo Chobanian announced the closure of the company in all countries. Users will be able to withdraw their balances within a two-month transition period.
Previously, Ukraine’s State Special Communications Service blocked the exchange’s domain based on a decision by the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv at the request of the Bureau of Economic Security.
