Lawyer Requests International Arrest Warrant for LIBRA-Linked Hayden Davis

Attorney Gregorio Dalbón has requested a “red notice” from Interpol for Hayden Davis, CEO of Kelsier Ventures, who was involved in launching the Argentine meme token LIBRA, according to local media Página 12 and Perfil.

Dalbón also reached out to prosecutor Eduardo Taiano and Judge María Servini, who are investigating a possible connection between Argentine President Javier Milei and what he called a “joke coin.”

The lawyer cited a “procedural risk,” arguing that Davis could access large sums of money, allowing him to either flee the U.S. or go into hiding.

Dalbón claimed that Davis played a central role in creating and promoting LIBRA, increasing the likelihood that he would attempt to evade justice.

Kelsier Ventures was the primary beneficiary of the LIBRA launch, with firm-controlled wallets accumulating over $100 million. Davis later admitted to paying the Argentine president’s sister so that Milei would promote the meme coin.

In February, local media reported speculation about a U.S. Department of Justice investigation into the role of Milei, LIBRA founders Davis and Julián Peha of KIP Protocol, and two Argentine businessmen—Mauricio Novelli and Manuel Terrones Godoy—in promoting the token.

President Milei denies endorsing LIBRA, claiming he only “shared” information. KIP Protocol has also denied any involvement in the project.
