Solana-based token launchpad Pump.fun has reinstated its streaming feature, which was previously shut down in November 2024 due to a “lack of moderators.” The update was announced by the platform’s co-founder, known by the pseudonym Alon.

The streaming functionality has been reopened to 5% of users. Alongside the relaunch, the platform has implemented tighter moderation rules “aligned with industry standards.”
Under the new policy, streams must not include or promote:
– violence or violent imagery,
– harassment or coordinated attacks,
– pornographic content,
– illegal activities,
– doxxing,
– copyright violations,
– extremist propaganda or incitement.
Pump.fun reserves the right to moderate content at its discretion, even outside of these listed categories.
Violations may result in user account bans, and in cases involving legal infractions, the platform may share user data with law enforcement.
During the previous shutdown of streaming, Pump.fun experienced a 33% drop in revenue within a matter of days.
As a reminder, in March 2025, Pump.fun launched its own decentralized exchange on the Solana blockchain.
