The majority of American voters oppose the creation of a crypto reserve, which would be funded through government spending, and do not consider the development of blockchain technology a priority. These findings come from a survey conducted by Data For Progress.

Among 1,169 respondents:
- 51% opposed the establishment of a strategic crypto reserve,
- 34% supported the initiative,
- 15% were unsure.

Among Republicans, 41% supported the idea, while 40% opposed it. Among Democrats, 29% were in favor, while 59% rejected the proposal.
Additionally, 45% of respondents believe that government funding for blockchain and crypto initiatives should be reduced in favor of higher-priority areas, such as artificial intelligence and space programs. Only 10% support increasing investments in the industry.
Previously, reports indicated that U.S. lawmakers are planning to introduce a bill aimed at protecting the strategic Bitcoin reserve from potential cancellation by a future administration.
