On February 17, a user burned 500 ETH (~$1.3 million), leaving an on-chain message in Chinese warning about “mind control.”

“The executives of Kuande Investment, Feng Xin and Xu Yuzhi, used brain-computer weapons to persecute all employees, including former ones, and even fell under their own control,” the message stated.

Kuande Investment (also known as WizardQuant) is a China-based hedge fund specializing in futures, stocks, and options trading.

On February 10, the same wallet sent 33.03 ETH (~$91,000) to a burn address with a similar message:

“As brain-computer interfaces and thought-reading technologies develop, a new type of crime emerges where wild animals become puppets or complete slaves of digital machines.”

On February 15, the user destroyed another 70.36 ETH (~$194,000), repeating the previous statement.

On-chain data shows that the funds originated from OKX and Binance. The wallet also donated a total of 711.52 ETH (~$1.97 million) to WikiLeaks.

On January 17, the user made his latest donation of 591.62 ETH (~$1.63 million) to the WikiLeaks address, leaving a message:

“I am Hu Lezhi, an ordinary programmer and entrepreneur. Since October 2022, I realized that I have been monitored and manipulated since birth by a mind-control organization. When I discovered its existence, they intensified their harm toward me. The past two years have been extremely painful, and I have lost all dignity as a human being. I have decided to leave this world and hope this ugly world will soon be destroyed as well.”

In another on-chain message, he claimed that “brain chips are already widely used for military purposes, and all major military powers employ stations, radio signals, and nanomachines to control citizens.”

In recent days, the user also transferred 1,238 ETH (~$3.4 million) to various unidentified addresses.

Earlier in February, Ethereum’s total supply increased to 120,521,725 ETH, reaching levels last seen before The Merge update in September 2022.
