Alibaba has revamped the Quark app, turning it into an AI assistant powered by the company’s new Qwen neural network, Bloomberg reports.
The “new Quark” now integrates chatbot capabilities, image generation, travel planning, article writing, meeting note generation, and other tasks into a single application.
“As our model evolves, we envision Quark as a gateway to infinite possibilities, where users can explore everything with artificial intelligence,” said Quark CEO and Alibaba Vice President Wu Jia.
Originally launched as a web browser in 2016, Quark has grown to 200 million users in China over the past nine years, according to the company.
Notably, in March, Alibaba introduced the QwQ-32 AI model, designed for reasoning tasks.
