Bitdeer, led by Jihan Wu, has announced the launch of its new SEALMINER A2 Pro mining rigs, featuring an energy efficiency rating of up to 14.9 J/TH.

The upgraded series includes two models:

— SEALMINER A2 Pro Air (air-cooled)
— SEALMINER A2 Pro Hyd (liquid-cooled)

— SEALMINER A2 Pro Air: energy efficiency 14.9 J/TH ±5%, hash rate 255–270 TH/s ±10%, power consumption 3790–4050W ±10%
— SEALMINER A2 Pro Hyd: energy efficiency 14.9 J/TH ±5%, hash rate 500–530 TH/s ±10%, power consumption 7450–7900W ±10%

According to Bitdeer, the SEALMINER A2 Pro series marks a breakthrough in energy efficiency, achieving 97% power conversion efficiency. The A2 Pro Hyd model offers enhanced high-temperature performance, operating stably with inlet temperatures up to 60°C and outlet temperatures up to 70°C.

Earlier, Bitdeer announced the successful testing of its new Bitcoin mining chip, SEAL03, which demonstrated a record-breaking energy efficiency of 9.7 J/TH.

According to Bernstein, mining hardware sales in the U.S. alone could reach $20 billion over the next five years.
