On March 21, Armstrong reported that a warrant had been issued for his arrest over the alleged harassment of Judge Kimberly Childs. The basis for the charges was a series of emails sent by the blogger, though he claimed he was acting as his own attorney.

Reportedly, Childs deleted her X account after the incident.

“Government officials hide corruption day after day,” BitBoy stated.

His arrest status is marked as “fugitive from justice.” According to online reports, Armstrong faces up to three years in prison.

In August 2024, the blogger, along with NBA star Jimmy Butler, settled a class-action lawsuit over their promotion of Binance. They agreed to pay a total of $340,000 under the settlement, with Armstrong’s share amounting to $40,000.

Earlier, BitBoy was also named as a defendant in a class-action lawsuit for his “active promotion” of the collapsed crypto exchange FTX.
